These terms are a binding agreement between you and Sums Solution. They set out what the service does, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. By creating an account, running a scan or connecting a site, you accept them.
This agreement is between you and Sums Solution and covers the dashboard, the free website scan, the knowledge base, the REST API and the Sums Security Guard WordPress plugin — together, the service.
If you use the service for a company or a client, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms for that company or client. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Sums Solution checks websites at the application layer: security headers, SSL certificates, exposed files, outdated software, XML-RPC, DNS health and malware blacklists — then monitors continuously, scores what it finds out of 100, emails you when something changes and tells you how to fix it.
The free scan and parts of the knowledge base are free for everyone. Everything else follows your plan: how many sites you may register, how often they are scanned, how many alerts you get, scheduled reports and whether the WordPress connector is included. The current limits live on the pricing page and in your dashboard.
We may add, change or retire features. When a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we tell you before it takes effect.
Register with an email address you control. We send a verification link, and the dashboard unlocks once the address is verified — alerts, receipts and notices are sent there too, so keep it current.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so email sumssolution@gmail.com straight away if you think it has been taken over.
The free plan is free forever, within its limits.
Paid plans start with a 14-day trial when one is offered, and are billed for the term you choose at checkout through our payment processor (Stripe when live payments are enabled). Unless you cancel first, a paid plan renews automatically at the end of its term at the price shown at checkout.
If a payment fails, we email you and retry; an unpaid subscription eventually expires on its own.

Findings are information, not a guarantee: no scanner catches everything, and a clean report does not make a site safe. You stay responsible for securing the sites you register, for acting on what the scans report, and for keeping your own backups.
Only register sites you own or are allowed to monitor. Where a formal audit is required, this service is not a substitute for one.
You keep ownership of everything you put into the service: site URLs, API keys, scan results and settings.
The Sums Security Guard plugin protects your WordPress site locally, and only sends data to this dashboard after you opt in by saving a dashboard URL and API key on its settings screen. Exactly what is sent is spelled out in the privacy policy and in the plugin readme.
You give us the licence we need to host and process that data so the service can run — nothing beyond that.
The service, the software behind it, the Sums Solution name and logo, and the knowledge base content belong to us or to our licensors. These terms transfer none of it to you.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
The service relies on third parties — for example Stripe for card payments and our email provider for alerts — and links out to them. Their own terms and privacy policies govern what they do.
We are not responsible for third-party sites or tools we do not control.
You can close your account at any time from your profile. We then delete your personal data as the privacy policy describes, keeping only what the law requires us to keep.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, threatens the security of this service or of other users, or sits inactive for a long time. Where it is reasonable, we tell you first.
Anything that should survive termination — disclaimers, liability limits and our ownership — does survive it.
The service is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim every warranty, express or implied, including accuracy, availability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, and our total liability for anything connected with the service is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — or nothing at all if you only ever used the free service.
Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
We may update these terms as the service grows. For a material change, the new version appears here and we email the account owner at least 14 days before it applies. The date above shows when this text last changed.
Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
