Business Visitor Visa

Are you planning a business trip to Australia? Whether it’s for a conference, negotiation, or a partnership exploration, you’ll need the right and valid visa to enter the country legally. For the purpose of business visit, the visitor visa subclass 600 under the business visitor stream can be your ticket. Read on to know more as to what this visa entails and how you can apply for one.

What is a Business Visitor Visa in Australia?

The Business Visitor Visa in Australia, formally known as the Subclass 600 Visa under the Business Visitor stream, is designed for people looking to visit Australia temporarily for business purposes.

Unlike work visas, this visa doesn’t allow you to work in Australia. Instead, it enables you to engage in business visitor activities such as partaking in conferences or trade fairs, conducting business negotiations, exploring business opportunities, and making general business inquiries.

To reiterate, you CANNOT undertake work for an Australian organization or sell services and goods to the general public. You can stay up to three (3) months with a business visitor visa.
